DEM(TM) comprises of three core components; (1) The
Web-Application which allows uses to manage their
database environments by a simple web interface (2) the Client
API which gives developers a powerful interface to
programmatically build their environments and (3) the DEM
Server which actually does all the work. |

Schemation has been primarily designed to work with Oracle
Databases. There is a basic level of functionality required as
Schemation runs within the database using a multi-process
build engine. Generally, we write in such a way that the code
is not dependent on the latest features of Oracle's database
server technology. As such our product can operate on a larger
range of database versions and configurations. The following
is however the minimum specification that Schemation can work
with
- Oracle8 Database: 8.0.3 - 8.0.6
- Oracle8i Database Release 1: 8.1.5.0 - 8.1.5.1
- Oracle8i Database Release 2: 8.1.6.0 - 8.1.6.3
- Oracle8i Database Release 3: 8.1.7.0 - 8.1.7.4
- Oracle9i Database Release 1:
- 9.0.1.0, May 2002
- 9.0.1.5
- Oracle9i Database Release 2: 9.2.0.1 - 9.2.0.7 (Latest
current patchset as of August 2005)
- Oracle Database 10g Release 1: 10.1.0.2 - 10.1.0.4
